This large stone arch crosses W. Buckeye Creek east of Belle Plaine.
Completed in July 1888, the bridge is one of the older stone arches along this line.
Since being constructed, little change has been made to the bridge. It appears to retain almost perfect historic integrity.
Overall, the bridge remains in excellent condition.

The author has ranked this bridge as being moderately significant, due to the common design, older build date and larger structure.
